My name is April O’Neil. I’m a TV reporter for Channel 6. I work part-time there during the day. And I own an old antique shop called “Second Time Around,” originally owned by my father, who’s no expired. My business with Channel 6 actually is a vital tool to help my turtle buddies to get information about Shredder’s next plan of attack.
Speaking of my turtle buddies. You know at first I was terrified of them, when I first met them in the sewers. What human being wouldn’t be terrified to come across four 5-foot mutant turtles that talk and fight? After hearing of their origin from their master father Splinter, I felt much better about the Turtles. In fact, I became close buddies with them fast. Over time, I fell in love with the turtles and Splinter. I sometimes think of them as either my brothers or my sons. I love them so much and they know that I’m available to them when ever they need me to help out get leads to Shredder, or any other kind of criminal activitiy.
One day I asked Master Splinter to train me like he did with his turtle sons. He tought me the ancient art of ninjisu, and how to fight with katana swords. I do pretty well in a fight, and I can handle myself. What worries me is that idiot Casey Jones. Can’t that moron ever do anything right? I mean seriously?
On my spare time, I like to invite my best human friend, Irma, over and talk girlie things. And sometimes she and I will go out shopping and browse for hours just for beautiful jewelry. We have lunch together, and coffee during break time.
Well I have to going, I’ve an important news deadline soon, and I can’t be late. Catch yah later!

April O’Neil is a character from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and all related media. In each of the many TMNT continuities, she is a good friend of the Turtles: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. April O’Neil é a principal aliada das Tartarugas, aparecendo em todas as adaptações exceto pelo seriado Tartarugas Ninja: A Próxima Mutação.

Daphne é uma personagem fictícia da série de desenhos animados Scooby-Doo. Ela é considerada a “patricinha” da Mistério S.A., por conter uma grande vaidade. Usa uma bolsa rosa de muitas utilidades. Nessa bolsa que tem, além de maquiagem, fio dental e outros equipamentos femininos, “Biscoitos Scooby”, já que Salsicha e Scooby “são a isca” das armadilhas de Fred e os convence com uma caixa.
Daphne utiliza um vestido roxo, uma meia-calça rosa, um par de sapato roxo e um cachecol verde. Em Scooby-Doo e a Caçada Virtual ela usava um terno roxo com uma camiseta verde. Já em Os Treze Fantasmas do Scooby-Doo ela utilizava de roupas roxas, sendo um casaco, uma calça e um salto alto, também da cor roxa.
Embora não seja tão inteligente quanto Velma, Daphne sempre resolver seus problemas de uma maneira diferente. O personagem mais tarde se tornou mais confiante e começou a ter um papel mais ativo com o passar do tempo, resultado da mudança de atitudes em relação às mulheres durante os anos 1970 e 1980. Em O Que Há de Novo, Scoby-Doo?, Daphne também foi bastante conhecida por sua habilidade em abrir fechaduras ou realizar outras tarefas com cosméticos de sua bolsa.
No filme Scooby-Doo na Ilha dos Zumbis, Daphne teve uma série de televisão de investigação muito bem sucedida em um canal fictício chamado “Americana”, no qual o show foi ao ar em duas temporadas.
Através dos anos, Daphne acabou sendo mais adorada e tendo mais fãs. Ganhando até mais fãs do que os personagens centrais Scooby-Doo e Salsicha.
